Project Role: Creative Director, 3D & 2D Motion Designer

For this project, I took on the roles of Creative Director, 3D Motion Designer, and 2D Motion Designer, overseeing everything from initial concept and storyboarding to final animation. The goal was to bring the client’s vision to life in a dynamic and visually engaging way. The client wanted to showcase their latest hockey stick, the Super Novium, emphasizing its advanced technology and design through high-impact motion graphics.

Challenges & Solutions

One of the main challenges was accurately modeling and texturing the hockey stick to match its real-world counterpart, particularly its iridescent material finish. In addition, I needed to create a fully 3D space environment that felt immersive and visually striking, complementing the futuristic aesthetic of the product.

To achieve this, I handled all aspects of 3D modeling and texturing, ensuring a high level of detail and realism. I then seamlessly integrated 3D and 2D motion graphics, combining these elements into a polished final animation that effectively highlighted the stick’s innovative features.
